Manga Review: Engage Knight
Engage Knight story by Chika Isaka and Mayu Kasugi (2 volumes- complete)
Tiaris enters the Noble Course of Grunwald Senior Imperial Academy to fill in for her sickly twin brother. No, she didn't pretend as a boy but she actually volunteered to be one and the other girl flatly pointed to her that she's going to be found out. Gender bender aborted. Aside from being a substitute, she's also given the task of looking knights for their kingdom from the students of the Knights Course. The cover and the summary of knights coming after her made me want to read this. The "engage" part is an original idea too but only 3 chapters are available so far. I'm inspired again to create the tag "knight" for other similarly themed titles.

At first, I wasn't too keen with the character art and story. They look distorted especially Ema, Azusa and Tsubaki. But then again, it's I think it's because I already knew the story. If I get to read the book before the movie I will most likely not like the movie. And vice versa, if I already watched the book I will most likely not read the book. The same goes with mangas/novels and animes. But as the series progress, my love for it has reawaken. Check out my thoughts on the novel's summaries here. The novel is now on it's second volume. Let's hope for a second season in the future. They still have Iori's conflict to cover.
The ending song "14 to 1" deserves a separate discussion. The story is already pure fanservice to reverse harem fans. 13 brothers after 1 girl? But making them all sing and dance?? It's really too much for me. I'm way beyond nirvana now. Ugh! I want them all to be my stepbrothers!
Please join the poll, you have to make a very difficult decision of choosing just one because I can't. My top 5 are the triplets, Iori and Subaru. And because Iori mentioned my nickname, I decided to resurrect my about me page.

Manga Review: Fusuma Land 4.5
Fusuma Land 4.5 by Waki Yamato 1 volume -complete
Before there was Platform 9 ¾, there was Fusuma Land 4.5. Kachiko is a very strict, glasses-wearing and a short girl. One day she fell into Fusuma Land where you transform into someone or something you wish to be. She also meets a ragtag of neko and literary/legendary figures.
Before you judge the manga by it's art, please take note that this is from 1984 and probably one of the pioneers of reverse harem as we know today. The story is original and all the elements are neatly planned out and paced well.
I've also updated Intro to Reverse Harem and Site with the pioneers of reverse harem. As per Mangaupdates, the oldest reverse harem mangas that we have are "Soredemo Chikyuu wa Mawatteru" (1984), "Fusuma Land 4.5" (1984), "Akogare Boukensha" (1985), "Momoka Typhoon" (1987) and "Hanasakeru Seishounen" (1987). They should also add Hiatari Ryoukou! (1980).

Freshest News: Amnesia musical updates, UtaPri troupes, Hakuba heroine
The upcoming musical production of Amnesia will have 15 stages over 10 days on January of next year. There will be five different endings too. From Cr. Cast from official site.
Uta Prince No Sama formed Shining Theatrical Troupe which grouped the idols into three. There will be new songs, cds and a lot more. You favorite idols will have their own twitter accounts too which will be active until February 28. From CR.
