Haruka Kobayashi had a case of runaway groom and haven't found luck with love since then. Her friend warned her to avoid 3B at all cost: bandman, beautician and bartender. And of course, she finds herself living with all three men.
This is my favorite among all the winter reverse harem dramas I've seen so far. And this is the first time I'm watching so many reverse harem all at the same time. Six. Reverse. Harem. Dramas. @.@ (Including 38-sai from Fall and not including Mairunuvich)
Is the so-called 3B boys really a thing in Japan? I don't know why but I loved that the guys are dating other women and it's refreshing for all the guys to be unreliable. It's hilarious when Haruka shuts them down like with Haruhi to the Ouran boys. She seems an airhead at the start when she thought the beautician is asking for her number but later on she sees through them. No favorite 3B yet but I'm kinda afraid of the bartender because of Dori Sakurada's role in Alice in Borderland haha This is his third reverse harem after Good Morning Call and Coffee and Vanilla.
There were touching yet simple moments that I could relate to. When Haruka was obsessively looking forward to the ice cream as a reward after a long day of hard work. I felt that. The beautician talking about not knowing his passion right away can be a truth for some.
The runtime is 30 minutes each and with seven more episodes to go. The beautician and bandman already had their turns and the next episode is the bartender's. Oooh The little flashes of jealousy gets me.
Life of Namjoo Eps 1-4 Kdrama
Jin Nam Joo sees the future whenever she sneezes but it led her to the disastrous ending of her relationship. Her father, also a fortune teller, warned her to stop listening to her voice/ instinct/whatever and foretells she'll meet three men and she must choose wisely.
We're all set with winter reverse harem 2021 and this came out of the blue. This comes as my second favorite after 3B. Namjoo looks like she's the pretty villain in a drama and I'm partial to characters with chameleon style. She's also not the usual sweet and everything nice heroine.
I didn't see the OMG-inducing twist in episode 2 and it got me confused if this is even a reverse harem. Okay, I'm not going to give away than I already have. For a very short drama (6 episodes/20 minutes runtime) it's packed with storytelling. I was only supposed to watch up to the third episode only to be fair with the other dramas but my curiosity of who the third guy is got the best of me. But it looks like he's been there all along. It wouldn't make sense to introduce the third guy on the last 2 episodes. (Okay, I rewatched the trailer, the third guy I was looking for her is indeed him.)
****
Four down and two to go for First Impressions for winter reverse harem dramas. Please watch out for Fling at the Convenience Store and Mairunuvich. What are your favorites so far? I don't think I'll do one for I-chu since it's not a reverse harem but I'll do a review once it's done together with A3! Autumn and Winter and Idolish7 Second Beat.
